  10. Given the relative success of Intel processors and Motorola 
  11. processors, we now have a baseline measurement for the relative 
  12. importance of backward compatibility and "upward" compatibility. 
  13. Personally, I vote for keeping my software over a marginal increase 
  14. in bandwidth everytime.
